About Me
My name is Kaleb Klug and Iām a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, #LH61560880). I view the success of counseling to be primarily based in a strong, collaborative relationship. I use a strengths-based, person-centered approach to counseling that is informed by the following theoretical orientations and modalities: Attachment Theory, Family Systems Theory, Narrative Theory, Trauma-Informed Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). My goal is to create a positive, welcoming, and curious therapeutic environment that allows clients to explore and integrate the many parts of themselves. I believes clients already have everything they need to be successful, and therapy is simply a tool to help them recognize this fact.
I hold a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. My professional development has focused on providing trauma-informed care, integrating culturally responsive treatment to better serve diverse communities, and learning specific interventions for working with trauma.
